Precision in execution for next-generation vessels

Within the NKT Eleonora project, Minerva Navis was involved in the execution of hull and piping works, contributing to the integration of systems essential to the vessel’s operation.

From hull works to piping installations — including hydraulic lines (Ermeto), stainless steel piping (Temponox) and prefabricated spool assemblies — execution was carried out with precision and coordination, in compliance with the technical requirements specific to the offshore industry.

In parallel, our teams completed the installation and structural integration of the ROV hangar doors into the vessel hull — a scope requiring exact alignment and full execution control.

Coordinator: Silviu Munteanu, foreman. 3 years at Minerva Navis, 9 years in the trade.

“The difficulty was finding the ideal route through uncoordinated piping: fitting five symmetrical hydraulic lines (Ermeto) and avoiding counter-slope, so that the Quick Closing Valves system would function. The challenge was to find a route without colliding with the other trades, while keeping a clean look to the lines. Another challenge was, the technical handover and the 12-bar tightness of the Chilled water / central heating system (Temponox).”  — Silviu Munteanu

Result:

  • Execution in line with offshore technical requirements
  • Accurate integration of structure and systems
  • Quality delivered without compromise
